England cricketers Adil Rashid, Moeen Ali and Saqib Mahmood become ambassadors of the South Asian Cricket Academy.
Tom Brown, CEO of SACA said:
'We are delighted to have Mo, Adil and Saqib come on board as ambassadors for our programme as they are fantastic role models for young BSA cricketers trying to break into the professional ranks. We hope that through our programme, we will see higher levels of BSA representation not only on the county scene, but also earning England caps like these guys have done.'
Moeen Ali shares in Tom's enthusiasm for the programme, in stating:
'I'm really happy to be an ambassador for SACA and am excited to see the impact that this will have on the game in the future. Hopefully there will be more guys like me who will now have a better opportunity to achieve their goals and make it as a professional cricketer too.'
